Policy Privacy

This document (“Privacy Policy”) explains and regulates the methods of collection and processing, by UNIQ Fulfilment Network, of the personal data provided by the user through the website www.uniqff.com (the “Site”).
Personal data means those provided by the user and any additional personal data provided by the user.

The personal data provided by the user are collected and processed by the Data Controller in accordance with the Terms of this Privacy Policy and Legislative Decree 196/2003 regarding the processing of personal data (“Privacy Code”). The Data Controller does not collect and use personal data relating to persons under the age of eighteen. Users under the age of eighteen cannot register on the Site and provide their personal data. The Data Controller assumes no responsibility for any personal data provided by persons under the age of eighteen. Users who decide to register/access the Site and provide their personal data are requested to carefully read this Privacy Policy. It contains information on the methods, purposes and duration of processing for which users’ personal data are intended, the nature of the data, the subjects to whom such data may be communicated or who may become aware of them and the rights of users in relation to access to the personal data provided on the Site.

METHODS OF TREATMENT

Personal data processing is carried out mainly using electronic and telematic methods by the Data Controller and other subjects who, appropriately selected in terms of reliability and competence, carry out operations that are instrumental to the pursuit of the purposes strictly connected to the use of the Site and its services. Personal data will be communicated to third parties only with the express consent of the interested party, except in cases where communication is mandatory by law or the law does not require express consent or is instead necessary for purposes provided for by law or for the execution of the activity requested by the user.
Personal data will not be transferred abroad to countries other than those belonging to the European Union that do not ensure adequate levels of protection of individuals. In the event that this is necessary to provide the user with the requested services, it is ensured that the transfer of personal data to countries that do not belong to the European Union and that do not ensure an adequate level of protection will be carried out only after the conclusion of specific contracts between the Data Controller and said subjects in accordance with the applicable law and regulations.

Cookies

No cookies are used to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind used, or systems for tracking users. The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site. The so-called session cookies used on this Site avoid the use of other IT techniques that could potentially compromise the confidentiality of user navigation and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user.

Purpose of processing
The specific purposes for which the data are processed are summarized, from time to time, in the information pursuant to art. 13, Privacy Code, which is presented to the user when they provide personal data.
Generally speaking, the data are processed for the provision of the following services that may be available by accessing the Site:

 

    1. subscription to specific and additional services, such as the newsletter and other similar information services on the Data Controller’s activity;

    1. management of the user’s requests, both technical and commercial, and requests for information in a broad sense;

    1. contacting the Data Controller’s service representatives [for example Press Office, Business Development, Web Marketing, Purchasing Office, Customer Service];
      In addition, if of interest to the user, the data may be processed for:

    1. direct marketing initiatives (sending advertising material, freebies, communications of promotions, events and prize competitions), including through communications sent via e-mail, sma, mms or telephone;

    1. conducting market research and analysis of purchasing and consumption habits (creation of customer profiles) with the aim, among other things, of increasingly better satisfying the user’s tastes.

Optional or mandatory nature of providing data

The provision of personal data by the user is optional. To visit the Site, the user is not obliged to provide his/her personal data. However, failure to provide personal data may make it impossible to access some of the requested services,
Subjects and categories of subjects to whom the data may be communicated

The user’s personal data may be communicated by the Data Controller to companies belonging to the same group, to external companies used by the Data Controller to carry out activities strictly connected and instrumental to the execution and completion of the services offered, such as, by way of example, subjects responsible for managing customer archives, freelancers for administrative and accounting obligations; postal services and third-party companies for market analysis purposes. These subjects will act as external data controllers for the processing of the data communicated to them.
The data may also be communicated to all subjects to whom communication is due by virtue of legal obligations (for example financial administrations and other entities).

Duration of processing

The user’s data will be stored for the period strictly necessary to guarantee the correct provision of the requested services, except for the need to store it for a longer period in compliance with the applicable legislation, including accounting. At the end of this period, the Data Controller may ask the user to renew consent to the processing of data or make the data anonymous and store it only for statistical or historical purposes.
The user may in any case revoke his or her consent to the processing of data for marketing purposes at any time: in each commercial communication there will be a section that will allow the user to easily revoke the consent given. For more information on the rights of the user in relation to the personal data provided to the Data Controller, please consult the following section “Rights pursuant to Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 2003”.
The data transmitted to any service providers will be processed by them for the time strictly necessary to carry out the tasks entrusted to them.
Rights pursuant to Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 2003
The users to whom the personal data refers may at any time exercise the rights provided for by Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 towards the Data Controller. In particular, users may obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning them, know the origin of the data, their content and the purposes and methods of processing. Users also have the right to verify the accuracy of the data concerning them, request their updating, rectification or, when interested, integration, cancellation, transformation into anonymous form and blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including those whose retention is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed, as well as to oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data concerning them, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection, as well as the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or informative, promotional, commercial communication. It is possible to refuse, now or even on the occasion of all possible future communications, the use of your data for the purposes of direct sales of the Owner’s articles.

Updating the information

This Privacy Policy may be modified over time to adapt to changes in the relevant legislation or for reasons of commercial convenience. Any substantial changes will be published at this address, and it is the user’s responsibility to periodically monitor the Site to find out about the validity or modification of these conditions.
Applicable law
This Privacy Policy is governed by Italian law and in particular by the Privacy Code which governs the processing of personal data – including data held abroad – carried out by anyone who is resident or has a registered office in Italy. The Privacy Code guarantees that the processing of personal data is carried out in compliance with fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as the dignity of the interested party, with particular reference to confidentiality, personal identity and the right to protection of personal data.
